Toothpastes

The type of toothpaste matters!

If a toothpaste has the ADA seal of approval, it is acceptable, but it may not be ideal for your circumstances.

The relative dentinal abrasiveness (RDA) value is key in minimizing abrasion and erosion on teeth.

No toothpaste with an ADA seal of approval can have a value above 250. The lower the value, the less risk of enamel damage. I do not endorse toothpastes with values over 100.

Below are my best recommendations for controlling inflammation, cavities, sensitivity, and stains.
